It is that time again! Match day 2006 will be here before you know it. Good luck to everyone on getting your first choice. It is never too soon to ask questions about a mortgage if you are considering buying. Bounce them off of me, I'm ready. Best Wishes.

Thanks to everyone who helped get the word out about Bank of America's No Money Down Doctor Loan. I have been able to help so many residents and practicing physicians purchase a home this year. To date, my info page on this website has gotten over 1350 views. I truly appreciate all of the people that allowed me to assist them with their home purchase! And thanks to MSC for allowing me to post here.

Sorry about that! Most Residents choose the 5 year adjustable option since the residency will only last 4 years and then on to the next stage and the next move (sell house and buy next one when you finish residency). The rate is currently in the low to mid 5 percent range, but rates are pretty volatile now that the economy is looking better. The interest rate is fixed for those first 5 years and then becomes adjustable for the remaining 25 years.

JLO, We are currently experiencing about 5-10 calls a day from Residents all over the U.S. This time of year is always busy for us, but we feel that it is important to make sure we continue to get the word out. Homeownership is an important part of financial stability and the benefits of owning a home far outway renting. Good luck in school and thanks for the comments! Take care.
