Metalife Gene Analyzer is proteomics tool for revealing of relationships of a given gene and its product(s) with other gene/proteins. The major purpose of application is to sub-cluster a group of objects by similarity of their common functional features (such as molecular function, biological process, disease and pathway association, family and domain). Besides the object features, the program analyzes public available and proprietary textual information using the latest achievements of Metalife text mining technology. As a result it extracts information of co-occurrence or interaction of a given object with all other genes/proteins, as well as its co-occurrence with the listed functional features. All these relations could be graphically visualized and the most significant ones (from both statistical and biological point of view) could outline the sense of the object in the cell. The interactive interface, flexible search engine, filtering by object features, possibility for output customizing and results saving makes Gene Analyzer an indispensable tool for microarray datasets interpretation.
