UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista) is a state run medical school that is located within the state of São Paulo, Brasil. There are campuses in Botucatu, Bauru, São Paulo, Campinas etc and they have schools ranging from Engineering, Medicine, Veterinary to Business and Art. The medical school in Brasil is one of the best with the best curriculum and instructors from all around Latin America. Like most schools, UNESP's curriculum is based on 6 years of education and training and then you follow up with a spot in residency and then you are on your own. In order to gain admission, you have to be one of the top in your college and must pass the entrance exam that every Brasilian needs to take. Currently the curriculum is set up so you cover your basic sciences the first 2-3 years and then you focus on clinical training along side some of the best medical professors Brasil has to offer. The school I currently attend is the one situated in Botucatu, Brasil called Faculdade Medicina de Botucatu (FMB). In addition to offering the basics, they also offer a wide variety of Pós-Graduação (or Graduate Education) in all specific areas from Research to Fellowships.

I personally enjoy my time here. We live in a small rual city called Botucatu where the population is over 120,000. The main downside to living here is that there's not much to do and its not a huge metro city. So activities are very limited. However the student organization is great. We have many parties and recreational activities to keep us busy in this small city. There are natural expeditions to crave those adventure types during off peak study but most are recommended with a guide. Weather is overall very good and the air is fantastic. We are about 1 hour from Bauru and 2-3 hours to São Paulo.
Any other questions, just let me know.

Brazio ( as Brazilians call it) is one of the most developed countries in the world. I was there last August and I really enjoyed every city I passed by; Sao Paulo, Piracicapa, foz de Iguacu and the most amazing Manaus. I wonder what's the official language that u follow at UNESP? Brazilians stick very often to Purtogase rather than learning other languages ;)
