This is for the information of all Indian students who are planning to leave for China soon to join MBBS programme in a Chinese medical college. Please be warned that Indian students who study MBBS in a Chinese medical college will not be allowed to sit in the Screening Test in India. Medical Council of India (MCI) is issuing Eligibility Certificate to students who are planning to go to China. However, the grant of the Eligibility Certificate does not mean that the Chinese MBBS will be accepted in India. In fact, it is mentioned on the Eligibility Certificate that the certificate is conditional and does not grant any right to the student. The Note on the backpage of the certificate states that students who complete their MBBS study from a foreign medical institution which is not included in the schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, will NOT be allowed to sit in the Screening Test. None of the medical colleges in China are included in the Schedules of the IMC Act, 1956. This means that Indian students, who are going to China with the express intention of returning and practising in India, will not be able to practise as a doctor in India. So, please don't WASTE five years and lakhs of rupees by studying MBBS in China. Also, don't get carried away by the testimonials posted by students currently studying in China. No international student, either from India, Nepal or Pakistan, is happy studying MBBS in China. However, some of these students encourage potential students to take admission in a chinese medical college because they get paid by the college. Now, when they stand to make money, they will naturally say good things about China!

assalam-o-alaikum.Dr.ariflatif we are currently studying in beihua university,jilin.We are in 1st yr of MBBS and are not satisfied with the teaching method of this university n would like to transfer to xinjiang university,urumqi.Please guide us n tell us abt ur university.pls reply as soon as possible.

Hi,

We are currently studying medicine in China .... Here there are lot of colleges with good infrastructure, But the only thing you have to look into while getting admission is the availability of good english speaking staffs and good practical hospital facilities....You may get some information from www.allianceedu.com .......
