So I've been pre-med since, well since I've been in college, and I've been going through the classes, suffering through organic chemistry, physics, etc.
I've been active in student organizations, and stuff like that, and I've met people who I could see myself being friends with for the rest of my life. However, there is one thing that really bothers me. And that's....pre-meds.
It sounds funny, I know, being a pre-med myself, but I dont really care about grade-grubbing or kissing up to professors. Everywhere, I see pre-meds asking how will this help me to get into med school and I sigh with disgust every time. It's rather discouraging seeing how all these people just waste their lives studying for some test that the professor will only give a couple of As in, no matter how high the grades are. It's really sad, and sometimes I just wonder if it's worth it... |
