I've got an idea for an application (website) that will diagnose people online. I'd like to know what are your opinions about it? Let me explain, what it's all about...

It will be a Wikipedia like site - i.e. the content will be created by users and shared under some open license.
People with medical background (i.e. medical students) will be able to define diseases and assign symptoms to them.
The diseases and symptoms will be defined according to medical sources, i.e. if the symptom: "Sensitivity to light or noise" is assigned to the disease "Encephalitis" - sources to some medical document or website must be given that verify this information.

The application will be able to perform online diagnosis according to the data that has been input by the medical users.
It means that the diagnosis results will be better each time medical users define new diseases and symptoms. The application will be able to "learn" in some way, according to the users answers for whom the diagnosis is performed.
The questions will be presented in such a way that the user will be able to choose one of the following answers: "Yes", "No", "I'm not sure".

The application will also present some information (created by medical users - wiki) or/and links to related sources about the diagnosed conditions (Wikipedia or medical websites and documents).

There will be many different language versions of the project (exactly as in Wikipedia) - for example polish users will be able to translate english diseases and symptoms definitions to polish language, so that the application will be able to perform the diagnosis in polish.

What do you think about such project idea? Do you think people will find such application helpful? Will there be people that will want to help with the project (creating diseases and symptoms definitions)? And so on... I will appreciate all your comments and opinions.
