I have the Kaplan MCAT test prep book, 2007 Edition (ISBN 1-4195-5109-4) and my tutor tells me there are a number of errors in the first 12 questions of the General Chemistry section. Can you please comment? I am getting confused!
Q2 - there appears to be an extra lone pair drawn on the Cl atom at the bottom of the perchlorate ion that should NOT be there.
Q3 - the answer seems to have confused answer A with answer B (they look like they have been printed the wrong way around, A should be B and B should be A)
Q12 - the explanation refers to the concentration of the H2S as 0.5M when the question says 1M.
Are these printing errors, or is my tutor wrong! PLEASE help, this book cost me $80 and I am losing confidence in it!
