Hey guys.. i gotta do this course called "Independent Study", where i get to choose to research or study any hot stuffs happenin in the medicine world... but the problem is i dunno what to do~!!
Any help would be really appreciated

Hi swack,
What you need to do first is find a lab to work in. Do you know anyone working in a lab now? if so ask them if you could meet with their PI or look for a lab that needs volunteers. I would try to find a field that you are interested in?

What do you like to do? What field are you thinking about going into? If you like Oncology research, then find an oncology lab. Etc. Just find something that you like and go for it.

try going to a micobiology lab and start putting ketchup , pepsi , or even some medications other than antibiotics on the cultures and see what will u get up wih , most of the medicine is based on this , luck !!! hehe

Ice, do you really try that?....Is that something they encourage or teach you to do, I've never heard of that but it sounds like a smart thing to do.....I think i'll use the advice.

lol , well ofcourse not , in our microbiology course we couldnt do that , but when someone is in the esearch feild he need to take any chance but in a scientific way .................... but u remind me wat i used to do at the mico lab .................me and my friend used to make a mess there .................... one day we made a big fire  lol
