I have a leaking heart valve and had CHF three years ago. I have been told to take antibiotics when I go to the dentist to avoid endocarditis. My boyfriend's 23 year old daughter had been staying with us for a month. Two weeks into her visit I got very weak, felt I had a minor stroke, have horrible night sweats and feel terrible in general. I found out she had been using my toothbrush the whole time. I am quite scared and have studied symptoms of endocarditis on the net, many of which I have. Since it's the weekend, I have no one to talk to. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you, Sheryl
